User accounts

You are now able to create accounts and log in.
Having an account will also allow you to do fancy little things such as:

post comments on the log if you feel like doing so. :-)
bookmark locations in the 3D explorer (yes I know it's still not available…)
and other features that will be upcoming at some future stage :-)

This all sounds great but a few issues diminish the current implementation:

Challenge token issues

For some reason currently unknown to me, the third party challenge token/captcha currently being used is sometimes broken, sometimes not.

Below the browsers tested, all on Windows 11:

Browser	Comments
Firefox	Behaves nicely in all cases.
Edge	Works - sometimes.
Chrome	Works - sometimes.
Chrome incognito mode	Never works
Brave browser	Almost never works, whether shields are up or not.

I am currently investigating…

Yeah… user accounts! What happens if I want to reset my password?

Yes I know. I am currently setting up exim on the box. Once that works and does not get squashed by too many email providers because the domain adlumens.org is quite literally unknown and so emails coming from it have a large chance to end up in spam folders, or even not show up at all :-( ! …once that works I need to put in place a light - but nevertheless robust - process for people to reset their passwords via email. Standard stuff.

Email sending can also be used to validate account creation, which is always a useful thing to have.
