Adeno-thought is a fusion of neurobiology and genetic engineering, where specific adenoviruses are used to:
- deliver gene sequences that enhance or alter cognitive functions directly within the human brain
- create nascent independent thought-substrates in organs outside the brain
Adenovorists engineer viruses designed to target neural pathways and synaptic connections, facilitating the encoding of complex information or even new thought patterns at a molecular level. The process involves precise modification of biochemistry and has expanded into areas such as memory augmentation, emotion regulation and cognitive enhancement.
