Egodynamics

Egodynamics is the exploration of self-organising and conscious systems, focusing on the interplay between identity, cognition and adaptive behaviours within both biological and artificial entities. Derived from neuroscience, cybernetics and emergent systems theory, this field seeks to understand and harness the principles by which systems - ranging from the human mind to autonomous AI - form, sustain and evolve a coherent sense of "self".

Egodynamics examines the dynamics of self-awareness, intentionality, material substrates/emergents and decision-making - not merely as abstract phenomena but as measurable and manipulable constructs. Its principles find applications in advanced AI systems, therapeutic neuroscience, social robotics and even governance models, where understanding and guiding the "self" of a collective is paramount.

Research

Tier6.800A decimal number between 0.0 and ~12.0 indicating the overall level of "advancement" of the science
TypePurePure sciences are focused on research and the improvement of knowledge. Applied sciences are too, but to a lesser extent and grant access to more concrete outcomes such as blueprints, governance, and others.
