Field physics

Field physics - sounds basic, doesn't it? Helen Sark, Primaris teacher, orbital station New Hagen

Field physics plays a crucial role in understanding and manipulating the fundamental forces that govern the universe. It explores the behaviour of fields - such as gravitational, electromagnetic, and quantum - across different scales and contexts.

Its extremely fundamental nature makes it a cornerstone for future development. As such, it provides the foundation for advancements in various related (and not obviously related at first) sciences, where researchers use field theories to design materials, harness and control energy or shape their environments. Its numerous applications reflect a more integrated understanding of the forces that shape our reality, driving progress in both scientific research and everyday technology.

Research

Tier1.000A decimal number between 0.0 and ~12.0 indicating the overall level of "advancement" of the science
TypePurePure sciences are focused on research and the improvement of knowledge. Applied sciences are too, but to a lesser extent and grant access to more concrete outcomes such as blueprints, governance, and others.
