Hadron therapy

Proton beam therapy was akin to carpet bombing. A bit like "one cannot make an omelette without smashing eggs".
To use the same (historic) register, what we have here is a laser-painter; discreet, non-invasive. And then the missile strikes. Zynth Josh-Mickael, Radio-chemist, lecture in BF830

Hadron Therapeutics uses high-energy hadron (most commonly protons and neutrons) particles to initiate cellular repair, mutation correction, or even molecular restructuring. Unlike conventional radiation therapies, which rely on indiscriminate energy bombardment, hadron therapeutics employ finely-tuned particle beams that interact with specific subnuclear components of damaged cells. This approach provides a much more targeted and controlled form of treatment, minimising collateral damage to surrounding healthy tissues.

Research

Tier1.700A decimal number between 0.0 and ~12.0 indicating the overall level of "advancement" of the science
TypeAppliedPure sciences are focused on research and the improvement of knowledge. Applied sciences are too, but to a lesser extent and grant access to more concrete outcomes such as blueprints, governance, and others.
