Hypnagogia

Yeah we call them Quasimodos, weirdly enough.

Quasi-sleep theory explores the frontier between sleep and wakefulness, by managing human (or synthetic) cognitive and physiological states when they hover in between the two diametrically opposed extremes. This semi-consciousness essentially bridges and strives to extract the best of both extremes into a beneficial, often artificially-induced, consciousness state.
Central to quasi-sleep theory is the concept of cognitive modulation, where the consciousness centre operates within a hypnagogic-like state - a phase of consciousness characterised by a blend of waking and dreaming processes. This state is achieved through neurostimulation techniques and targeted frequency modulation, which influence brain wave patterns to induce a stable semi-conscious condition.

This theory builds upon foundational principles of neurobiology and cognitive science to create a controlled, semi-lucid state that facilitates optimal rest and recovery while allowing for partial mental activity.

Research

Tier7.500A decimal number between 0.0 and ~12.0 indicating the overall level of "advancement" of the science
TypePurePure sciences are focused on research and the improvement of knowledge. Applied sciences are too, but to a lesser extent and grant access to more concrete outcomes such as blueprints, governance, and others.
