Tachyauxesis

Crop yield is good; cycle time is 2 days for full-grown peaches - variety F-8B.
And they taste wonderful! Sol Deart, agrinomist onboard the Imlis station ("City of Wells") - AF58

Tachyauxesis, or growth quickening, studies the acceleration of biological development; this is achieved through direct manipulation of cellular regeneration cycles and metabolic pathways. The principle involves the integration of cytokinetic enhancers and telomerase inhibitors to not only increase the rate of mitosis but also to extend cellular viability beyond typical biological constraints. The idea is deceptively simple: increase the rate of growth without triggering the destructive forces of senescence or cellular malfunction.

Through the use of growth factors engineered with synthetic nucleic acids and nanomolecular scaffolding, the target organism can bypass natural biological limits on tissue expansion and differentiation. These growth factors are delivered via microinjected nanorobots, which monitor and adjust the local biochemical environment to ensure precision at every stage of cellular proliferation. Crucially, growth quickening protocols make use of controlled metabolic hyperstimulation, allowing for accelerated nutrient absorption and energy production without exhausting the organism's resources, thereby avoiding the metabolic collapse that plagued earlier methods of forced growth.
